Fooling around with my new Loupe System
I just received the loupe recently and today I tried a few shots. Not as easy as I would have thought. And I still can’t get the light to work. Irritating with such an expensive product. I suppose it requires a bit of practice, as I’ve seen excellent results with it. Yes, I realize the bit of lint despite wiping of the watch first.

I have difficulties with the light ring at times, too...
... it really requires the exact rhythm of a double tip to engage or disengage it. Once I had the Loupe System overheated and neither the light ring or charging worked. I got very quick advice from Alberto and learned that I needed to let the battery run ...

You did warn me that it acts up a bit, so I was prepared for it ;-) The lens seems like a super qulity though. I need to practice ans one always does, with a new "camera". I suppuse the question is to get the light right as in all photography. Thanks a lo...
Macro photography can be very annoying
I’ve learned to wipe down the watch at least 3-4 times with different cloths before starting, and every time I still find more lint or oil(under the lugs, around crown) Photoshop helps remove lint too... 🙂

This afternoon, I found some canned air among my photo gear - think I might give it a try for next session. But you are obviously right, Mike. A bit of Photoshop , is probably required to get it the last way. Thanks a lot for chiming in. Hope all is well ...

Yes, I agree about the scratches. Watches are meant to be worn. I much prefer a bit of scratches to a over polished case. This piece is from 2005, So it has had a life already

It is good to be demanding with yourself but you push the ball too far, your pics are perfect. As trial pics with your Loupe System they are stunning and reveal the beauty of your superb FPJ perfectly. This Loupe is surely not cheap but unrivalled quality...
