FIRST POST: Help me find 40mm Sapphire Bezel
Dear team,
Long time follower, first time poster. Love all the fantastic BPs people have on this channel.
I'm super lucky to own of a 1999 Fifty Fathoms, from the great Biver-era when sports Blancpains had perfect proportions.
As you can see below, I like to alternate between (original BP) straps for a different look and feel.
I would like to do the same with the bezel. For the longest time I've been looking for a sapphire bezel from the 50th Anniversary Edition.
Could any of you point me to where I can source one?
I assume the London boutique won't sell me this part and I've been checking eBay for years.
It's a watch I want to own for life and want to respect it by only using Blancpain parts.
I can't switch to a 50th anniversary or modern 42mm because they lack the stepped dial with contrasting finishes which is important for me from a design perspective.
