Horological Meandering

First anniversary

Not of the watch per se - that is significantly older - but of my daughter. Just over a year ago the Aerospace came back from a service, which was quite a pleasant experience overall, I have to say, making it just in time for me to use it in timing my wife's contractions on the way to our first child. So while it may severely lack in horological significance, it has plenty of personal attachment - being a graduation gift, as well as present at said important moment smile So time to wear it on the first birthday, taking said daughter for a walk.

Let's hope that the Chrono One (below) acquires similar 'emotional attachment' soon - apart from my daughter's bite mark on the lower right lug - after all the flyback function is much better suited to contraction measurement than the crown operation of the Breitling, and that way there would be a practical application of the chrono, not just a use for the sake of pushing the buttons and enjoying the movement wink
