Easter with the Breitling Aerospace
Easter is a nice time to enjoy (I think the more correct term is overindulge in) food, spend some time with the family and generally relax somewhat.
So it turned out this year, too

The beltline is somewhat tighter now, though...
As we've been away from home, that meant a small complement of watches. And as it's been a graduation present - i.e. family related - the Breitling Aerospace came along.

I have to say it has somehow been getting much more wrist time since I decided on the experiment of replacing the bracelet with the strap. The bracelet was super comfortable and being titanium not heavy at all but somehow the strap has made it, I guess more attractive.
And I have rediscovered how intensely blue the dial can be under certain light conditions. Very nice
It may be quartz but I have to say I have neither grown tired of the design, nor does it really miss functionality in terms of being a pilot watch.
Sure, the single crown operation can sometimes be annoying (judging the amount of twist necessary to change the hour for DST is an art acquired only after years of practice) but it at least helps with the looks.
In any case - it survived everything my daughter could throw at it and then some
