Sometimes we just cannot “SEE’ the problem.
I finally have.....ageing eyes.... a love of things well made and reliable...a need to get back to basics with clean, simple clarity.
I found this out when I bought my Breguet Marine 5817 about a month ago and realised I needed something simular that I can use anywhere in out hot tropical climate, on the farm, on the tractor, in the wet, etc, and I started the hunt for a clean clear simple work watch in with metal band that I could love as much as the 5817.
When I first became aware of the dimensions of the Breitling Avenger Seawolf, I was so disappointed as I loved the dial in the brochure and web photos, but I dismissed it because of it’s size.
Then one Forum member told me, being in Titanium and being so light, it is not big to wear.
I went to my AD this afternoon on another matter, and saw the Seawolf in the real....the dial was so clear that I was young again.....I could see it and read it without glasses....just like the 5817....and when I tried it on, it shrunk in size. Yes BHK9 and Grahame, I bought it.
So now I am pretty confident that I have finally found my ‘work’ and ‘dress’ combination.... and I love them both.
Kindest regards to all,
Jack
