Earth rocks and space rocks
Here are some photos of my Day-Date 40 with a meteorite dial in white gold with a diamond-set bezel. While I tend to prefer watches with straps over bracelets, with the hot and rainy summers I have been wearing my DD40 pretty often lately.
When I purchased this watch in early 2020 my AD had three meteorite DD40s available: a white gold model with a fluted bezel, a platinum model with a smooth bezel, and this white gold model with the diamond-set bezel. My intention was to buy the one with the fluted bezel as I preferred it over the smooth bezel and didn't think I was interested in the diamonds. However, I thought I may as well give it a try before finalizing my purchase and in the end decided it added a bit of fun and went with the gem-set model you see here.
Several years later, I am very glad I decided to go with the diamond-set bezel. My collection has grown quite a lot in the past 3-4 years yet this one continues to stand out as it is the only gem-set watch that I own.
