I came accross a quite interesting Daytona cosmograph 6263....
it is from 1980....
manual movement.... valjpux 727.....
although it is 36.5mm it looks and feels bigger....
So what do you think?

I dod not really consider this as a status watch.... (it may be but some but not me).... the movement is interesting..... the design is superb...... as for the others that you mention.... the Heuer is not at the same level for eg.... But lets go back to t...

The 6263 with the red 'Daytona' on a silver dial is just sublime. This is not an understated watch, as people do notice. I get quite a few questions and compliments from non watch lovers. Regards Rene This message has been edited by Oztimelord on 2010-05-...
