Daydreaming watches
That time period when you have ended the honeymoon with a new watch is sometimes the most dangerous interval. You want that new watch excitement back! You want to go back on honeymoon! Especially, if like me, you've also lost out at auctions and feel the sting of the missed opportunity. The reaction right now is to buy something new & shiny!
Some of us are smart enough to create a diversion by buying a bunch of new watch straps to play around with. Others are sensible enough to put money to servicing their watches. And I've also heard rumors of still others among us who put their money to drinking and drowning their thoughts with sweet alcohol.
Well, I'm going to meet the danger head on. I'm daydreaming about watches. But keeping it only at that.
Here are some watches that are on my dream list -- watches that pique my interest but I might never get for various reasons...unless the stars aligned and something great happened to me...
Also these are watches from brands that are not the big 3 most discussed ones on the forums. So not Patek/Rolex/AP. What's on your dream list?
Pic from Horbiter. The Laureato Three Golden Bridges Tourbillon from around 1998. SS case 40mm. I've always wanted to see this one in the metal and try it on. How would the contrast between the ornate dial decoration work with the sporty case & bracelet.

Pic from Nico's PPro thread. This is the modern Laureato 3 Bridges Tourbillon from 2012. Titanium with platinum bezel and those spinel bridges, 42.6mm. So cool and cold. Apparently these Laureato Three Bridges Tourbillon were never a big-time seller for GP. They were all made in very limited numbers. Very rare to see them in the wild.

Pic from Magnus' PPro thread. The Zenith Academy Georges Favre-Jacot from 2016. Ceramic case with rubber strap, 45mm. A tourbillon with a fusee & chain. I like the really dark sinister look.

Pic from Monochrome Watches. The Montblanc TimeWalker Tourbillon Chronograph 100. Titanium case at 44mm. Love the sporty red accents against the black dial. Don't like the dial cut-off. Probably my least favorite among the 4 watches here, but still very cool.
