Datograph perpetual Close ups

Well had the 'big' camera out at weekend so took some nice shots of the DP...tried to get some macro ones to show the detail of the face & dial, as in real life the dial is stunning, the silver accents etc on the markers & date surround & the way its perfectly finished. Its a hard watch to snap a quick pic of as sometimes it just shows a very grey face, so was trying to do more justice to the sort of shimmering effect this watch has as you change viewing angles.

Also the case is often overlooked, the way it is such a nice combination of polished & satin finishes really makes the case feel so well put together & thought about, as you can see the polished parts reflect beautifully

Having owend it & studied it now for a couple of weeks I have to say its a miniture engineering marvel to me. the moonphase is beautiful, the markers, the luminous on the hands & the shape of the hands, the blue hands for the chronograph, it really is so well thought out and put together...without further ado the pics...
