. . . the casual collector. There are so many dial and hand variations that it's probably the most difficult Omega to assess, aside from Speedmasters. Yours appears to be entirely original. Congratulations on finding a perfect specimen! Cordially, Art

I’m happy with it. It’s one watch that I will likely never part with, despite being one of the least expensive in my collection. The weekday date wheel appears to be a newer service replacement, but I have no idea how old.

I had no idea that Omega made watches of that nature. I always think of them for their beautiful chronographs. Thanks for sharing these pictures, you have given me an entirely new perspective .

Whats interesting though is the fact that the date on these types of watches most of the time is blue or red, not just black or whatever.

It looks like a sweet watch. Very different t from the Speedmaster frenzy but more like a real 50’s 60’s watch. I agree it’s very difficult to value but I would argue that such a watch isn’t about monetary value but about the warmth it bri gs when it’s on... 

And it brings me a lot of warmth
