Comparison

Somebody asked me the opinion of Otium compared to Schaeur. I kept on feeling that the comparison is not right, but I couldn't figure out what's the right comparison to Otium.

Until I dug my file and saw these 2 Nomos. Same price level as Otium, both comes from Germany, and happen to have the same agent in Singapore

Nobody talks much about Nomos here. But I think Nomos is a well built and reasonably priced watch. I like their "no nonsense" and "simple" design and price. Otium casing and strap has nothing to brag about. Only the uniqueness of the dial worth the price. On the other hand Nomos movement is "in-house" (I don't know whether it's true). And movement finishing is much better compared to Otium.

Anybody has more info or knowledge or pictures about Nomos, pls share it here.
