Chopard 150th Anniversary Celebration in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, November 12, 2010 --- Chopard celebrated its 150th anniversary amidst the splendour and elegance of a luxurious jungle-themed setting with 200 crème de la crème of Kuala Lumpur’s elite society.

The Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie Animal World Collection which was designed exclusively to commemorate the occasion by Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director, Ms Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele was showcased during the evening.

The Animal World Collection has a selection of 150 unique handcrafted species of animals that are, represented in the form of bracelets, necklaces, brooches, earrings, rings and watches.

The event was held at one of the most prestigious hotels in Malaysia - Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

When all guests seated, the dinner event began with a high energy sound of the jungle drum/percussion performance by the Hands Percussion.

Relevant with the Animal World theme and ambience.

After the performance, dinner served ...

Next a brief speech by Mr ABM Shahjahan, Managing Director of Chopard Malaysia thanking the guests for taking time to join the Chopard 150th Anniversary celebration.

He commented, “We are very proud and honoured to be given the privilege to showcase some of these magnificent pieces to our Malaysian customers, who have been loyal and supportive of the Chopard brand throughout the years.”

Subsequently continued with a fashion show with models wearing some of the selected models from the large150-piece Animal World Collection ...

Dinner continued ...

After that, one more round of fashion show with the Animal Collection and also the 2010 L.U.C Collection ...

The evening continued with a live band entertaining the guests till late ...
