Jaeger-LeCoultre

Can you spot the difference?

During the JLC True Second launch and prior to collect my Geophysic Universal Time True Second, the sales representative keeps telling me the one I am about to get has a piece missing from the regular production. I was totally baffled to what he was saying until he send me a photo, showing the missing part (top center of photo) and the regular production piece has an additional "bridge" covering partially the swinging balance. He explained that to have the piece added the movement looked "whole", and the launched model doesn't have, making the watch more exclusive. After seeing this photo, what are your thoughts, with or without or doesn't matter?

A real talking point watch, most people saw it thought it was a quartz watch, only to see the automatic movement that this JLC is one special piece, and commenting on the UT finish...

Cheers to all, Ian
