Breguet Pocket Watch

Some years ago at an auction in England I purchased a writing case and in the lining found a "broken pocket watch" I took it to a watch-mender who said it was not worth the cost of repair. However after viewing your site I wondered whether anyone would have a different view.

Then watch has a beatifully chased silver case with a floral decoration, and on the inside of the outer cover has the number 14517/6.

The inner case which appears to be gold is inscribed in copperplate as follows:
Ecahppememl
A Cynlidre
Breguet a Paris
Aiguille Y
Qua ire trous
En aveis
N 14516
The inner case has the same number on the inside

The glass is missing as are the minute and seconds hands however, strangely, I have what appears to be the original winder.

If anyone could help it would be appreciated
