Breguet

Newbie asks about Breguet 4715

I'm looking at buying a Breguet 4715 (numbered on the watchback 4715 B) from a respected London dealer. This is my first Breguet so I want to proceed with caution. As soon as I can I'll post a photo, but in the meantime here's a description... The watch is mechanical handwound with subsidiary dial in the 6 o'clock position. Roman numerals round a silvered ring in the centre of which is a patterned (guilloched? is that the word) disc. Breguet hands. The winder has a blue gemstone in the centre, a la Cartier. The rim of the watch is grooved something like the rim of a UK ?1 coin. It's on a black leather strap with a hallmarked 18ct buckle. Overall the watch looks clean, well-looked-after and, to the untrained eye, totally authentic. It also looks classic, elegant and I am a bit in love with it already. The dealer says it dates from the 1990s and is asking ?2,500: no box or papers. So, what do you think? Anyone got any warnings, observations, encouragements? I'd be very grateful for your advice.

Regards,

Puzz
