Hi
I have an opportunity to buy the abovementioned new old stock watch from 2007. The seller claims that when the watch is put on the timing machine, it runs plus 3 seconds a day and has a good amplitude of 290 degrees. I can get this watch at 50% of its retail price, but obviously I am worried that I will have probems and will have to send the watch (still under warranty) to Switzerland for service. The main problem is that I really like the watch, and the price is very attractive. Please give me your objective opinion. Would you buy a watch like this under these terms.

If you like it and you can afford it - buy it! I like that watch very much and with those terms I would take it without hesitation. I would wear it for 18 months and then, with the smallest of reason, would send it for adjusting hoping for a free service....
