My Omega Geneve 'TV Dial' is back from the local watchmaker. The only part that needed replacement was the balance staff. It's running at 275 degrees and +5 seconds dial up. Not bad. Of course real world performance won't be anywhere near that, but performance was never really the point of this watch. I'm just glad to see that gorgeous round square back on my wrist.

I'm not sure 1976 was the first year of this model. It was definitely sold in 1976 (hence its appearance in the catalogue from that year), but it may have been around before then. Either way, it is definitely a product of the 70s in every sense.
