Another Treat From My Recent Trip to Paris
I took one morning to stop by a custom strap maker from whom I had purchased online but never visited in person (I'm from the states). I felt they did a wonderful job helping me select a new strap for my IWC Yacht Club and was asked to post some pictures of the result.
I had intended to choose a black alligator with black stitching but they suggested this white contrast stick which matches almost perfectly with the inner bezel of the watch:
I really like how the contrast stitch helps preserve the sportiness of the watch.
They also convinced me to line the strap in rubber (again, sporty) and matched it exactly with the red hand on the dial:
I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to visit in person because I know I wouldn't have made these choices on my own and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

If anyone else has put different straps on your Yacht Club I'd love to see some pictures.

that looks like a superb alligator strap. I guess we can guess where you went and they do make superlative straps. As in your experience, working with them to design the strap makes it so much more special. Thanks for sharing your experience. Simon
