Part of the reason I was asking anyone with knowledge on this movement is because I just got one myself. While I do not know the year of manufacture it was clear that this is the same movement as used in the PAM 203, except for the differences in decoration, and in my case the obvious age patina. The majority of the 240 movements out there have the alarm module, this one doesn't it is a pure Base movement with crown winding. In its day perhaps this would have been less desirable than an alarm clock, today it is a rare treasure for a few crazy guys like me (you know who you are). The movement is running and while it is beautiful in its original form it will eventually have to become part of something very special.
