An unexpected opportunity.
Having admired the SD4000 even before Rolex stopped producing it. I always thought maybe one day. Well out of nowhere last week came an opportunity to acquire a mint condition one. I new l would regret it down the track if I didn’t so l pulled the trigger. I like how clean it looks without the Cyclops. Even though l’ve never owned a Submariner l do like it but there’s something about this one that appeals to me.

Very short production period.
Back in the days when there was no hype, it sat in the AD display case after it was discontinued, it was sold to make room for the new stock with a huge discount.
