Horological Meandering

An old picture of a Favre Leuba Bathy Fifty.

A watch I could see some ten years ago, in Paris.

A legend, an historical watch, as this is the second wrist watch to house a mechanical depth meter, the first being Nivada Grenchen and the Depthomatic. ( 1964 for the Nivada, 1966 for the Favre Leuba ).

Here is the Bathy Fifty:

I am a huge fan of the Bathy Fifty and its brother, the Bivouac ( altimeter and barometer ).

A watch, and a brand, which should really deserve more recognition!

Best,

Nicolas
