AD surprise
I stopped in after work for a bracelet adjustment and my AD brought out this surprise piece for my wife. I had been asking about this for so long that I had given up on it ever happening. But he remembered and unexpectedly presented it to me such that I was speechless for a minute as my brain tried to process what I’d convinced myself is a discontinued piece 😵💫 (Note: it’s not discontinued).
I tried it on and thought 💭 how cool would it have been if Rolex also offered this in 41mm. Even though many guys may say they’re reluctant to wear this pink hue, I bet a 41mm would have been a surprise hit like the turquoise, or even better…especially if it was discontinued a year later. But I digress.
Honestly, what I always find very impressive is when people get a call from their AD about a piece they’ve been waiting on for a long time and the fact that the AD does genuinely keep them in mind still. Keep hope alive.✊🏽

Once she gets this sized to her wrist, I’m expecting this to be a daily wear for her too. At least I’ll be able to see the piece more often compared to if it was mine and only saw periodic wrist wear.👍🏽

Oh how I wish, but once it gets sized for her by removing links then it won’t be possible for me any longer.

Thank you. I’ve always loved pink and purple hues, which I always considered curious.
This particular dial is nice in that while it is a ‘candy pink’, I find it to be subtle and cool. Note, I wouldn’t have a problem with a fuchsia dial, but this pastel dial has a calming effect.
I would def wear it
