It’s a bit amusing how insistent I used to be regarding the heft of a watch and how much I appreciated it. That’s in part why platinum pieces have been a notable favorite. However, over the years, my appreciation for lighter materials (eg titanium, ceramic, hybrids, etc) has definitely increased to the same level, if not more. Especially in the case of larger watches like Panerai (where heft was a cool factor), the carbotech and ceramic pieces are honestly just easier to wear longer throughout the day. I guess the same case can be made for extra thin watches too.
