Rolex

A real pleasant surprise...

Got an unexpected call yesterday and jumped on the opportunity to acquire the new version of the Sea-Dweller. The Sea Dweller was actually the first Rolex model I purchased some 20 years ago, and so it was really nice to return back to the Sea-Dweller after so many different Rolex models and so many different brands and so many different years. This one will definitely not leave my collection!

Pluses to date - certainly the dial and the red lettering, the quality of the finishing throughout, and the 3235 movement. Funny enough I actually appreciate the cyclops as I realised I cannot read the smaller font without some magnifier.

Some questions marks - oddly, despite my experience with AP and other larger brands, at 43mm it just seems a tad bigger than other Rolex models. Maybe I've only been used to 40mm like Rolex models throughout the collection journey!

Cheers

Peter
