Got an unexpected call yesterday and jumped on the opportunity to acquire the new version of the Sea-Dweller. The Sea Dweller was actually the first Rolex model I purchased some 20 years ago, and so it was really nice to return back to the Sea-Dweller aft...

The SD anniversary is a great Rolex: big enough to make a difference to its 40 mm siblings but still very werable. Enjoy!

Sadly I think I sold my first SD to jump into the Panerai phase...so this return with the anniversary model makes it very special, Cheers!

Congrats and enjoy the process of getting accustomed to the dimensions of the watch. In my case, i had a back and forth with it for the first few weeks but then at some point, it just becomes quite endearing..
I think it also sits in a strange place between the sub and the deepsea as the SD used to be the heavy hitter diver and now it isn't. This makes it an interesting watch, in my opinion.
It is getting better on day 2...
If anything, I hope to use the watch in future dives. I tend to wear a dive computer on one side and a “dive calculator” on the other. So far it’s been my Blancpain that has been a trusty partner I do believe that the Deepsea is a wonderful watch, but see...
