A Random Thought...
So yesterday I read a random article talking about watches that could be used in all-around situations (casually, formally, in the office, jeans + tshirt, etc.). Two of the mentioned timepieces were the Sub (of course) and the Datejust. Now the only Rolex I have is the GMT Master II so I may be a bit biased, but I think it could be argued that from a solely practical aspect of fitting "all situations" - couldn't a black bezeled GMT be the perfect fit? By no means do I wish to degrade the submariner, but given we compare the date models of both, isn't tracking a second timezone/a 24 hour hand is much more useful than being able to dive 1000ft? Just my $0.02...
