A nice vintage inspired chrono from Hamilton.
That is the Intra-Matic Chrono H from their American Classics series.
Right sized with 40mm,a quality hand-wound movement (base ETA-7753) with 60 hrs power reserve and a very fair price point : what's not to like?
The winding is buttery smooth and the accuracy way beyond COSC standards : these latest generation ETA movements are top quality!
I am usually not a fan of faux lumina but in this case it works well for me in combination with the faded black dial and the creamy sub-totals.

All this is executed in a very good quality : a watch at this quality and at this price point can probably only be offered through the industrial power of a Swatch group brand!
The thickness with slightly above 14mm seems high but on the wrist the proportions are absolutely fine.I guess this is due to the shape of the bezel and boxed sapphire.

A really charming watch which gets a lot of wrist time.

Classic design and modern proportions, it deserves a closer look.
Definitely the "entry-level" Swatch brands offer some great stuff : Certina,Hamilton,Mido,....
Especially if they take inspiration from their long heritage.
