A;lthough, I just noticed that the watch Foversta reviewed...
had 1 of 178 as well. Maybe they are not numbering them?
I’m not as familiar with Louis Erard as I’m sure FX is, so he should probably answer your question...
But I would have read the “1 of 178” on the caseback the way you did (namely, this is #1, and they are all numbered as “N of 178”, for N=1, 2, ..., 178)...else, perhaps they all carry the same inscription, just to indicate “this is one of 178”?🤔 Hopefully...
