Been busy in the office and now hopping between various committee meetings, ending this evening with a dinner for a fellow stepping down from a senior voluntary position after over a decade in the role. Didn’t have time to properly set it this morning - should I get a winder? - but still felt it appropriate to wear something rather formal and embodying a long-term approach to the passage of time. So, a good time to wear this 5039G which has recently come to me…it’s been a ray of sunshine on a cloudy, stormy day!

I would not get a winder. The watch is fairly easy to set. If I’m only going to wear the watch for a few days I don’t set all the complications. If I’m going to wear the watch for more than a week I will set the complications with a toothpick. In my opini...
