5508 service dial: gilt ?
Hi all,
I have a dial for a ref 5508 that looks like a service dial (swiss t < 25) but has gilt writing. The dial surface is matte. See attached picture. Any info on these dials ? The gilt is hard to get in a picture but it is gilt for sure.
Kind regards,
Mark

I have the same dial on my 5508. Not sure if these were the very first replacement dials or the last regulat production dials for 5508's. In any case it is very nice and very rare. Cheers Jeff This message has been edited by DrStrong on 2008-08-01 10:10:2...
