5140 Servicing & Continuity Questions

For the 5140, I heard that there is no servicing interval, but because of the Silicon components you only have to send it in for service ($1620 or so) when it begins to run too slow or fast. Is that true?

Also, will Breguet be coming out with new watches soon at Basel World? I am thinking of the 5140 Enamel dial as a purchase but don't want to buy just before something even better comes out.

Also, for the long term, do you think the 5140 will stay in the catalogue? Apparently the movement is an older one that is not entirely inhouse, and is not sized correctly for the 5140's case. I wondered also if they would discontinue the 5140 and come out with a new movement designed for that case, perhaps one hand wound and larger.

I myself am on the fence about the 5140, I love it but cannot tell if it would be too "big", too much of a pocket watch (solid caseback, convex, 40mm) to be a real dress watch. At the same time I admire and love the fact it was designed to have a case like that, though the movement choice seems puzzling.
