50th Anniversary Fifty Fathoms exhibition launch, VIP reception in Manhattan
It's taken part in any number of secret missions
carried out by the world?s finest combat divers.
It?s played an often life- saving role as part of
many ocean research programs the world over.
It was standard issue to the underwater film
crew of ?The Silent World?, the first documentary
film ever to receive the Palme d?Or prize at the
Cannes Film Festival.
It?s Blancpain?s Fifty Fathoms. Launched in
1953, it ranks as the world?s very first modern
diving watch.
