5095 vs 5070

I’m looking for a Patek chronograph and love how the 5095 and 5070 both come in 42mm. For this reason alone, I’m not considering any of the smaller chronographs. The 5095 is an automatic chronograph with an annual calendar whereas the 5070 is a manual wind more traditional chronograph. I am really undecided between the two, but I do want the gorgeous black dial on either that I buy, so I’m considering the 5095P/5095R or 5070J - all black dial. They are similarly priced second hand, but it seems the 5070 is holding value more than the 5095 with gold variants of the 5070 costing ore than even the platinum iteration of the 5095. Why does it seem the 5070 is holding value better than the 5095, is it because it is a classic and timeless mechanically wound chronograph with no date versus a more modern, avant-garde, and dare I say less desirable and less timeless 5095? The 5070P is cost prohibitive at over $100k (which I find odd given a 5095p can be picked up for less than $60k). I’ve always loved the 5205 and view the 5095 as it’s bigger and more sophisticated brother, but I also love the 5070 as much. For ease of the debate, I’m posting photos below of the ones I’m considering. I would greatly appreciate thoughts on the 5070 vs 5095 as I’m torn between the two and both speak to me equally as well. For your awareness of my current collection, my only Patek is a 5130R World Time. Value retention is important but it’s not everything. Thanks
