Last year, yours truly found a spectacular Omega chronometer on eBay.
Unfortunately, it was located in Argentina, where packages are known to disappear without a trace.
Abel discerned my plight, and moved heaven and earth to deliver the precious Ω into my hands last May.
The following month, a local Omega fan alerted me to a 910 Flightmaster in practically NOS condition.
Now, I already had one, but knew of several people who wanted one of their own.
Because Abel had been so helpful sending a coveted Ω my way, I let him in on the near-perfect ref 145.013.
Duly informed, he decided to add it to his collection. And, voilà! . . .
. . . here 'tis, alongside my well-worn example, awaiting the next convenient flight to Buenos Ares.

. . . we all understood the point you were trying to make. I've never lost a delivery from overseas, but they've always been watches or parts of relatively low declared value. When a customs inspector sees valuations in the thousands of dollars, packages ...
