I'm still not a huge fan of the Louis Vuitton Tambour - I've tried it on at Dubai Watch Week - I've seen a whole bunch of LV executives wearing it... Jean Arnault was at Dubai Watch Week and was very happy about it - but I still just am not a big fan of it. That's okay, they won't be producing that many of them (estimates vary between a few hundred pieces to no more than 2000 pieces) because the production line for the movement isn't very large. Because the production numbers won't be very high, they will likely sell out - so with such low production numbers, they can't fail! However, with all the investment, marketing costs, they won't be making much money since the low production numbers won't help the amortization of costs. But this is a great way for LV to get a nice project off the ground, get their feet wet, and have easy sales targets to reach.

Okay, wow, thanks for pointing out the differences between the two Alpine Eagles! And yes! That's a big surprise that the new bracelet system is on both models now!
