The watch that was both my first nice watch I bought for myself and the one getting me to WPS some 11 years ago.
Here complete with the bite marks from my teething daughter (from the time) that will remain a part of the patina of this watch and are a part of its story π

The only thing the redesign is much better at is fitting on a wide range of wrists, as it has the more modern short lugs. This can be an issue for this one with smaller worsted wearers ππ€·π»ββοΈ Irrespective, itβs always going to be a special piece to me ππ» ...

That NATO strap just looks fantastic on it and is not the usual choice of strap but just works so well. Great to hear about the personal patina on the watch that I'm sure makes it priceless for you. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
