never thought about it from that way... The problem... is that every time I start to look at the dial, I will not get satisfied until I stare at it for a good 5 seconds. So this defeats the whole "inconspicuous" effort=) Jon

It's always nice to know that the beautifully finished movement is also reliable and consistent. Unfortunately, this is something that several other brands (including my other aesthetic favorite brand, Roger Dubuis) seems to consistently forget=)
