A few questions for collectors and a picture of my grail!

Hi all! I wanted to know, how many of you have bought their holy grail watch and how did it feel, initially and over time? I'm a younger collector and I've set myself the goal of acquiring a first generation datograph in platinum. However, I'm an engineer...

First off your Chopard is gorgeous

I have not purchased a true grail watch myself so I may not be the most helpful here but one thing I would point out that many people seem to forget is once you buy your Datograph you haven’t lost all the money you spent on it, you still have the watch wh...

This is very true

You have an outstanding watch but to answer your questions I think the dream watch is a dream watch until the next dream watch comes along. For me utopia in a watch is a living moving object that is constantly changing. The trick is to find your comfort z...

From my side. I own my grail watch. Very rare watch from my favorite brand Longines. But when time goes bye, new grail watches arise at my horizon. One of them is the Vacheron Constantin twin beat perpetual calendar. A member here have one. Second grail w...

Stunning when I saw a review of it! Interesting, do you force yourself to wear different watches in a rotation? Or is there a different way you approach wearing the different pieces in your collection? Cheers!

If the Chopard didn't have a date window...

...I would own it...

Beautiful Chopard, definitely a grail-status piece that I'd consider on par with a Datograph!

Your question is difficult and it requires a lot of self reflection. The answer will be different for everyone depending on a lot of factors like how much you will enjoy the watch, what else might you spend the money on that might bring you more enjoyment...

That’s a very nice watch you have there, and a rightful grail

That word, grail - I think it’s an elusive thing and maybe doesn’t exist A dream watch will be a dream watch until it becomes reality and then the next dream will start, at least that’s how it has been with me for the last 20 years. After some time, there...
