Interesting information. I suppose the ratio between both same models in gold and platinum will vary from one brand to another thanks to different internal alloys

Just checked my periodic table and the platinum has a density of 21.45 vs 19.28 for gold (yellow of course).
In order to compare with other materials:
16.6 for tantalum
12 for palladium
4.54 for titanium
between 7.5 and 8.1 for steel
between 8.4 and 9.2 for bronze
2.25 for carbon
Easy to understand why some watches make your arm stronger than other ones ;-)

no date would complete an already amazing piece. I am really blown by the dial, case shape and movement. A great piece for any collection. Alex
