Probably the standard "it would be better without"? I suppose we can say the same about many, if not most, watches with a date complication.

My 8 HF also did not keep decent time. It was OK for a few months after arrival

And then for whatever reason got more and more out of whack. Not magnetized. It went to Chopard for complimentary adjustment under warranty. I sold it after it returned, and it still was not a very accurate piece.

And with the central seconds hand the smooth gliding of it is more apparent than with the earlier small seconds LUC versions 👍🏻
