All of the Chopard pieces that are related to Japanese culture have been well executed. If I were to be super critical, I would say that the Urushi and Maki-E pieces shouldn't use the standard 96 series movement - I would prefer it to use the 96 series movement with the Geneva Seal!

I agree that these watches would be better with the Geneva Seal 96.

In French, the major form of classical Japanese dance-drama is called "No" (能). But you call it "Noh" in English... My bad! So this ensō watch is a no-go for you, I'll keep that in mind. I like the way the ensō is featured on the dial, personally... 🤷🏽♂️...
