Last week, a piece arrived in Singapore. Seldom I see this piece of Mille Miglia Vintage in shops. Typically available in either Black or White dial in RG case (limited production of 250 pieces each). This piece is a new slate grey! Understand this watch ...

and wanted to ask you what was the movement underneath. Glad it is a stunning Lemania 1874 refinished by Chopard. WOW! Does the white dial comes with sunburst as well? Cause the picture looks like lacquer/ceramic effect. I think Chopard should issue chron... 

Now this is truly a piece to post on this site and share... Rare, it definitely is. Beyond nice, it definitely is as well. Those photos of the back were almost "magical". Thanks for sharing as I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did...

Thanks Kong, I've always admired this watch. The slate sunburst dial adds depth and fascination to this really tasteful, classic piece.

i've not been a fan of the newer models since i owned a 2001 model, but this is great. there's something about a 'vintage' chrono that takes a lot of beating. does the 1874 have any relationship too the Omega 861? it looks very similar although this one i... 

The Lemania 1874 movement, if I'm not wrong was related to Omega 866 for the Pro Moonphase and may have updated to 1866 currently. Kong

If I am not mistaken, the Omega 861 is also known as Lemania 1873. From what I read on the web, the 1874 is the decorated-and-without-plastic-part version of 1873. Used in Omega 863 and 864(c.o.s.c). Feels like a moonwatch with a different brand, ah? If o... 

Patrick, i may be wrong, but i think Longines and Tissot made watches with the same Lemania based calibre as the 861, but i'm not aware of anyone else with a 321 calibre. best Graham
