Ah...2001...I remember it well.
An excellent year for watch lovers. Things were booming and all sorts of funky stuff was about to be unleashed over the next 5 years.
Chopard was experimenting with design cues outside their conservative comfort zone and your Mille Miglia 2001 Race Edition started the 'all black' trend.

It was black before that became ubiquitous and the appeal and charm seem to have grown with age 👍🏻
