I seen yesterday some refs and i go save refs from the Cartiers i want to collect.
At this moment i focus on an interesting independent.
It is possible that the watch maker can modify to specs the customer wants.
Very clean watches, no spectacle, but made from high quality metals.
Cartier came through
And finally delivered my Santos LE, new watch with a new serial number. I inspected this one with my loupe system and it is indeed perfection. All is well that ends well! I must say it is a great value. I was shown the Pasha skeleton but it was not for me...
I should have mentioned
The original Santos delivered to me had what appeared to be a scratch on the dial. Cartier later explained that it was in fact dust, but agreed to replace with an entirely new one from Switzerland. I wonder what will they do with the opened one I returned...
I was told they where all allocated
So they will either go over quota and sell or destroy ( as in repurpose )

I'm not a quartz watch fan but am anxious to see Solar Beat tank watch from Cartier. With 16 year service intervals it could be interesting.
