The original Santos delivered to me had what appeared to be a scratch on the dial. Cartier later explained that it was in fact dust, but agreed to replace with an entirely new one from Switzerland.
I wonder what will they do with the opened one I returned since it’s a limited numbered release, resell or repurposed/destroyed?

And finally delivered my Santos LE, new watch with a new serial number. I inspected this one with my loupe system and it is indeed perfection. All is well that ends well! I must say it is a great value. I was shown the Pasha skeleton but it was not for me...

I was told they where all allocated
So they will either go over quota and sell or destroy ( as in repurpose )

I'm not a quartz watch fan but am anxious to see Solar Beat tank watch from Cartier. With 16 year service intervals it could be interesting.
