Trinity gold

Last weekend's UK Financial Times appeared to celebrate Cartier's centenary of trinity gold jewellery with rings, earrings and necklaces.

I joined the celebration wearing this little-worn, small tank, which I now share.  It contains a 9-jewelled Frederick Piguet calibre 8.20 movement.  Battery replaced every four and a half or so years.  Late 1970's or early 1980's.  Blue saphire crown as usual.
A refused gift from me returned because it was "ugly".  I love it!  Beauty in the eye of the beholder.

but i can see their appeal. Having said that, there are dial variants that I much prefer over the trinity to be honest.

Yes, thats THE classical choice,

you just can´t go wrong with this wone. I really miss my ivory dial Tank, but it´s gone for good and I´m looking to replace it with another Cartier if I can get a good deal on one.
