According to Cartier, their watches use diamonds ranging fom VVS to IF. Typically, FL or IF diamonds are used in the top of the line high jewellery watches while VVS diamonds are used for other jewellery watches.
In terms of colour, the diamonds are usually D, E, F and G, with the higher grade stones being used for high jewellery watches.
