The Cartier Calibre 38mm on the wrist
This watch is for me a good surprise. The reduced size led to a change of the dial design with the removal of the oversized XII. This Calibre may lose a part of the initial character but at the end, I find it elegant.
It is still powered by the in-house movement 1904MC.

I might actually prefer the larger, and this has nothing to do with size.
This 38 looks like it wears extremely large. And I think that might be great. Part of that may be the visual continuity between the case/bezel and the lugs and crown guard, which are both very prominent. My issues: 1. No disruption to the aforementioned v...
