Cartiers presentation at the SIHH this year was indeed very impressive and glamourous.
And the here presented photographs do reflect the products very well.
Many new models were launched and the huge turn was the fact,
that the brand presented not only new exiting models, but also new 'in house' developed movements.
And that's quite a turn.

While Cartier was still using 'high end' movements from other companies for the CPCP collection,
for the Collection Haute Horlogerie all movements are made entirely in house.

Since Faisal referred to the masculine 42mm Calibre model,
it's may be worth mentioning that the movement for the Calibre 'Time Only' model,
is the new 'in house' developed Calibre MC1904,
in fact it's the first self winding movement, produced by Cartier
and it's named after the famous Santos Dumont model, that was created in 1904.
The movement has a power reserve of 48 hours and it winds clockwise and anti- clockwise.
I tried the watch on my wrist, since 42mm is really the maximum size I can wear
and I must say that the fit is absolutely comfortable.
