The final room displays the Cartier Fine Watchmaking collection in its entirety - an impressive spread of timepieces.
Because the lighting was exceptionally harsh it was impossible to photograph most of the watches.
Each of the display cases has a video projection of the exploded movement animation on the glass that is only visible from the front and not the rear of the display case.
The exhibition is an thoughtful and insightful, and one that is evidently well curated and conceived.
Credit goes to all the wonderful people at Cartier Singapore - Christopher, Dorothee, Julien, Peggy, Bell and Cynthia; as well as from Cartier Paris - Katharina, Thomas, Benoit, Vincent, Celine; Pascale from Cartier Geneva where all of these timepieces are housed; and of course Carole at the manufacture.
It a rare chance to see an enormous collection of important timepieces. A must visit.
